Moneyview IPO, Price, GMP,
Dates, Financials, Business Model, Valuation and Review
The Moneyview IPO 2026 is set to enter the
Indian primary market on September 24, 2026. Backed by prominent global
investors including Accel, Tiger Global and Ribbit Capital, Moneyview is
looking to raise approximately Rs.1,091.61
crore through its initial public offering.
Moneyview
has fixed the IPO price band at Rs.32
to Rs.34 per equity share. The issue will remain open for subscription
until September 28, while the anchor book will open on September 23. At the
upper end of the price band, the company will have an implied market
capitalisation of approximately Rs.5,984.79
crore.
The IPO
is particularly interesting because Moneyview is not just a conventional
fintech application. The company operates a digital financial services platform
covering personal loans, insurance, credit cards, digital gold, payments and
other financial products. It also has exposure to on-balance-sheet lending
through its subsidiary Whizdm Finance.
With
strong revenue growth, a large registered user base and a rapidly expanding
digital financial ecosystem, Moneyview is entering the market at a time when
India's fintech and digital lending sectors continue to evolve. However, the
company's FY26 profit growth was considerably slower than its revenue growth,
making profitability and credit risk important factors for investors to
examine.

The
minimum application consists of 441
shares. At the upper price band of Rs.34, a retail investor would need
approximately Rs.14,994 for one
lot. The IPO has reserved 50% of the issue for qualified institutional buyers,
15% for non-institutional investors and 35% for retail investors.
What Does Moneyview Do?
Moneyview
is a digital financial services platform that connects consumers with banks,
NBFCs, insurers and other financial institutions.
The
company initially built its business around digital personal loans. It began
offering personal loans through lending partners in FY17 and subsequently
expanded into on-balance-sheet lending through its material subsidiary, Whizdm Finance Private Limited (WFPL),
in FY20.
Since
then, Moneyview has expanded its product ecosystem considerably. Its platform
now covers personal loans, insurance, credit cards, digital gold, payments and
earned wage access.
The
company's business model is therefore broader than simply providing loans. It
acts as a digital distribution platform through which customers can discover
and access different financial products.
As of
June 2026, Moneyview had approximately 14.03
crore registered users and 48 financial partners integrated into its
network.
This
large customer base is one of the key assets of the business because the
company can potentially cross-sell multiple financial products to existing
users instead of acquiring an entirely new customer for every product.
Moneyview Business Model
Moneyview
operates through a combination of marketplace-based financial distribution and
lending activities.
Under the
marketplace model, Moneyview connects consumers with banks, NBFCs, insurers and
other financial institutions. The company can earn fees and commissions for
facilitating these financial products.
The
company also has exposure to direct lending through Whizdm Finance. This makes
the business more complex than a pure technology marketplace because lending
introduces additional risks related to credit quality, defaults and capital
requirements.
This
hybrid structure can potentially help Moneyview generate revenue from multiple
financial products. However, it also means investors need to monitor both the
growth of its digital platform and the performance of its lending business.
Moneyview Financial Performance
Moneyview
has delivered substantial revenue growth over the past few years.
For FY26,
the company's revenue increased 43.3%
to Rs.3,351.2 crore, compared with Rs.2,339.1 crore in FY25.
However,
the company's profit growth was much slower. Profit increased only around 1% to Rs.242.7 crore, compared with Rs.240.3
crore in the previous year.
This
difference between revenue and profit growth is an important factor in
understanding the IPO.

The
numbers show that Moneyview has been able to scale its revenue rapidly.
However, FY26 demonstrates that higher revenue does not automatically translate
into proportionately higher profits.
That makes
operating efficiency, margins and future earnings growth particularly important
for investors evaluating the IPO.
Strong June 2026 Quarter
The
company's June 2026 quarter showed a significant improvement in profitability.
Revenue
from operations increased 50.2%
year-on-year to Rs.1,041.1 crore, compared with Rs.693 crore in the
corresponding quarter of the previous year.
More
importantly, profit jumped 158.8% to
Rs.173.8 crore, compared with Rs.67.15 crore in the year-ago quarter.
This
represents a sharp improvement compared with the relatively muted profit growth
recorded during FY26.
However,
investors should avoid extrapolating one strong quarter directly into a
full-year earnings forecast. The key question will be whether Moneyview can
sustain this improvement across the coming quarters.
Why Is Moneyview Raising Money?
The fresh
issue component of the IPO has been reduced to Rs.750 crore, compared with the larger fresh issue proposed
earlier.
According
to the latest IPO documents, Moneyview plans to use approximately Rs.325 crore of the fresh issue
proceeds to support growth in loan disbursals under Default Loss Guarantee
arrangements.
Another Rs.250 crore will be invested in
Whizdm Finance to augment its capital base. The remaining proceeds will be used
for general corporate purposes.
This use
of funds is important because a substantial portion of the fresh capital is
directly connected with expanding the company's lending operations.
The
capital infusion into Whizdm Finance could also support the subsidiary's
ability to expand its lending activities.
Moneyview IPO: Fresh Issue vs OFS
The IPO
consists of two components — a fresh issue and an Offer for Sale.
The
company will issue fresh shares worth Rs.750
crore, while existing shareholders will sell up to 10.04 crore shares through the OFS.
The OFS
includes shares being sold by promoters and existing investors, including
Accel, Tiger Global-related entities and Ribbit Capital, among others.
This
distinction matters because money raised through the fresh issue goes to the
company, whereas the OFS proceeds go to the selling shareholders.
The
reduction in the issue size is also worth noting. Moneyview had previously
proposed a larger IPO, but the fresh issue has now been reduced from Rs.1,500
crore to Rs.750 crore, while the OFS has also been reduced.
Moneyview IPO Valuation
At the
upper price band of Rs.34 per share,
Moneyview's implied market capitalisation stands at approximately Rs.5,984.79 crore.
Using
FY26 profit of Rs.242.7 crore, the implied valuation works out to roughly 24.7 times FY26 earnings.
However,
this should not be looked at in isolation.
Moneyview
operates in a high-growth fintech and financial-services market. Therefore,
investors need to consider the company's future earnings growth, lending
expansion, asset quality and profitability alongside the IPO valuation.
The
latest June quarter is encouraging from an earnings-growth perspective, but
investors should determine whether that performance is sustainable rather than
assuming it will continue automatically.
Moneyview IPO GMP
The Moneyview IPO GMP, or Grey Market
Premium, is an unofficial indicator of market sentiment before listing.
GMP can
change significantly depending on subscription demand, market conditions and
broader investor sentiment. It is not part of the official IPO process and
should not be treated as a guaranteed listing premium.
For that
reason, investors should not base their entire IPO decision on GMP.
The more
important factors are the company's financial performance, valuation, business
model, use of IPO proceeds and risks associated with its lending operations.
Key Strengths of Moneyview
Moneyview
has several identifiable business strengths.
The first
is its rapid revenue growth.
Revenue increased from Rs.2,339.1 crore in FY25 to Rs.3,351.2 crore in FY26.
The
second is its large digital customer
base. With 14.03 crore registered users as of June 2026, the platform
has significant potential for cross-selling financial products.
The third
is its diversified product ecosystem.
Moneyview has expanded beyond personal loans into insurance, credit cards,
digital gold, payments and other financial services.
The
fourth is its backing from established institutional investors. Accel held
approximately 21.89%, while
Internet Fund III, associated with Tiger Global, held approximately 13.79% as of September 20, 2026.
Key Risks for Moneyview IPO Investors
The
biggest issue investors need to monitor is the gap between revenue and profit
growth.
While
FY26 revenue increased by more than 43%, profit grew by only around 1%. This
indicates that rapid business expansion has not yet consistently translated
into equivalent bottom-line growth.
The
second major risk is credit risk.
Moneyview has exposure to lending through Whizdm Finance and other lending
arrangements. Higher defaults, deterioration in borrower quality or increased
credit costs could affect earnings.
Another
risk is regulatory uncertainty.
Digital lending and fintech businesses operate in a highly regulated
environment, and changes in RBI rules or other financial regulations can
influence business models and economics.
Competition
is another factor. Moneyview operates in a market containing banks, NBFCs and
several digital financial platforms, meaning customer acquisition and retention
can remain competitive.
Finally,
investors should consider the relatively large OFS component. A significant
portion of the IPO consists of shares being sold by existing shareholders rather
than fresh capital being raised by the company.
Moneyview IPO: What Investors Should Watch
The
central question for investors is whether Moneyview can convert its strong
revenue growth into sustained earnings growth.
The June
2026 quarter provides evidence of a sharp improvement in profitability, but the
next few quarters will be important in determining whether this improvement is
sustainable.
Investors
should track revenue growth, profit margins, loan disbursals, asset quality,
credit costs, Whizdm Finance's performance and the returns generated from the
fresh capital raised through the IPO.
The
company's ability to cross-sell multiple financial products to its large
registered user base will also be an important long-term growth factor.
Moneyview IPO Review
Moneyview
is entering the public market with a combination of rapid revenue growth, a
large digital user base, multiple financial products and strong institutional
backing.
At the
same time, the company is not a straightforward high-growth story. FY26 showed
a significant difference between revenue growth and profit growth, while the
lending component of the business introduces credit and regulatory risks.
At the
upper price band of Rs.34, the implied market capitalisation is close to Rs.6,000
crore. Investors therefore need to assess whether Moneyview's future growth and
earnings potential justify the valuation being offered.
The
strong June 2026 quarter improves the recent earnings picture, but
sustainability remains the key factor to monitor.
Moneyview IPO Conclusion
The Moneyview IPO 2026 offers investors an
opportunity to participate in a growing digital financial-services platform
with exposure to lending, insurance, payments and other financial products.
The
company has demonstrated strong revenue growth and has built a sizeable digital
customer base. Its latest June 2026 quarter also showed a substantial
improvement in profitability.
However,
investors should not overlook the risks. FY26 profit growth was almost flat
despite strong revenue growth, while credit risk, regulatory changes,
competition and the performance of Whizdm Finance remain important
considerations.
The
Moneyview IPO will open on September
24, 2026, and close on September
28, 2026, with a price band of Rs.32–Rs.34
per share. The minimum application size is 441 shares, requiring Rs.14,994
at the upper price band.
For
investors evaluating the issue, the focus should be on the company's ability to
sustain revenue growth, improve profitability and manage the risks associated
with its lending business.
